At Mapsees, we believe the best way to discover your next destination is to see how it looks like in reality – so through a video.
Our platform connects curious travelers to tourist attractions by offering a map with numerous videos into the world’s most captivating places.
Our Mission
We empower travelers to:
- Decide their next travel destination more easily by offering the map. Discover famous and also some hidden tourist attractions and iconic landmarks from the map. Then every one can more easily to decide where to visit. Wherever they are, for example at home to decide where to travel or even in the city already they can navigate to the attraction using the map during their holiday.
We also aim to:
- Increase the number of videos to the map from already uploaded videos to Youtube.
- Shoot more videos and add them to the map.
How It Works
Using our platform is simple and free. Just go to the frontpage and start discovering the map. The map offers shared videos all over the world. We also have added a third-party link to almost every video marker for you if you are interested to have more information, for example the opening hours of the attraction. The map contains the following video types for you:
- Nature
- City
- Sport
- Religion (churches, cathedrals, active temples etc.)
- Historical (palaces, castles, world heritage sites etc.)
- Museums
- Kids (amusement and water parks, zoos etc.)
- Top 10 of Countries
- Mapsees Production
If you don’t find a video from area you are interested in, you can submit a video and we add it to the map. On the other hand, if you did not find any video to suggest we would be happy to shoot the attraction and make a professional video about it.
